The FHHS Alumni Association held another outstanding meeting yesterday at
our fearless President (Joe Gillilands) house. The object of the meeting was
to discuss the organization, set our goals and objectives, plan our first
all class party, have an adult beverage and fire the Mighty FHHS Federals
cannon. As nine of us stood at rapt attention as the firing pin was pulled,
no words could describe our astonishment as our mighty cannon sounded
like......a mousetrap snapping shut. All you could hear was laughter as
another shell was loaded, and yet again.....snap. The diagnosis.....bad
powder. Oh well, at least we got everything else done and planned our first
all class reunion at Fort Hunt Park. This year our FHHS-Alumni Association
all class reunion will take place July 29th in Area D at Fort Hunt Park.
